Programs

Path to Leadership Lab SM

Organizations are consistently faced with the question of “who is next?” Grooming future leaders within an organization is vital for building leadership bench strength and planning for succession.

The Path to Leadership LabSM is a flexible program designed to enhance the talent, skills and inner resources of an organization’s emerging leaders, while supporting client-customized, hands-on training programs in the workplace.

Like GLI’s Leadership Laboratory®, the Path to Leadership LabSM is designed to have a group of leader candidates meet together for three to four sessions over the course of six to eight months. In between sessions, participants are engaged in formalized activities designed to deepen and enrich their knowledge and understanding of the organization or industry they are in. Such activities might include participation in longer detail assignments in another division, a shadowing assignment, performing executive interviews, working on a special project and/or a mentoring relationship.

Experience and knowledge are solidified. The Path to Leadership LabSM serves as the mortar to cement new learning and insights on this journey. Together as a cohort, participants will gain clarity about what leadership means and discover their motivation for achieving great results in their chosen fields.

GLI facilitators provide an ideal venue for participants to share their new learning and insights. Participants are exposed to models for communication and self-awareness that serve to grow their emotional intelligence, increase their confidence and enhance their leadership potential.
